Our Focus
Here at Angell-Thomas Charolais our goals are simple. We select genetics that will benefit the bottom dollar of our commercial customers. Our criteria for selecting herd sires always starts with:
- Calving ease
- Disposition
- Competitive growth
Angell-Thomas Charolais has about 150 females and sells between 30 and 40 bulls each year. Our start in the Charolais breed was more than 30 years ago with Sally’s first show heifer. What started as a small FFA project has grown into a lifetime love for Sally and her family.

Words from a Satisfied Angell-Thomas Charolais Customer
“This is our first set of Charolais cross calves and we couldn’t be happier. We have the growth we were looking for without giving up calving ease. The temperament of Russ and Sally’s bulls are top notch, never a threat.”
– Lee & Kelli Wade – Paris, Missouri
“Brought the last replacements home last weekend and most were sired by your bulls. 69 out of 70 were bred.” – Larry Runyan – Stewartville, Missouri
“My calf crop out of your bulls is by far the best I have ever had. I don’t know for sure but I think they are 100-150 lbs heavier than I normally have at this time of the year. Seems like the calves are more docile than normal also. I am very happy with the bulls.” – Daniel Troesser
